Job Title: Programs Director
Reports To: Executive Director
Basic Function: The Programs Director is responsible for conducting the after-school "TNT" program through hosting and administrative support. He/She is to use the position to develop and teach the word of God, motivate and support all students.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following: A minimum of an Associates degree in Youth Ministries; preferred Bachelors degree; 2-5 years of experience leading Youth Ministries and working with young adults; ability to work independently with minimum supervision, take initiative, handle emergency situations in a professional, efficient manner. Possess a valid unencumbered driver’s license, a personal vehicle, and able to travel for Teen FLOW as well as the ability to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements: Physical strength/endurance to enable him/her to perform/participate in the following activities:
- Physically able to lift various materials up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
- While performing required job tasks, physically able to bend, crouch, and reach continuously.
- While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain seated, frequently to continuously.
- While performing required job tasks, physically able to remain standing up to 40% of the time.
- Possesses dexterity abilities required to operate a computer and other office equipment to perform related job responsibilities.
- This position requires frequent travel and the ability to drive.
General Responsibilities:
- Plan and organize weekly program activities that are engaging, age-appropriate, and aligned with Teen FLOW’s mission.
- Develop creative games, activities, icebreakers, team challenges, and student engagement moments.
- Help create a welcoming, energetic, and safe environment for students.
- Ensure that activities support connection, leadership development, discipleship, and positive student participation.
- Schedule weekly Motivational Speakers
- Administrative support for bible study curriculum
Outreach responsibilities:
- Luncheons with MISD schools
- Plan and coordinate student bashes, special events, outreach nights, community events, and seasonal activities.
- Organize event details including themes, schedules, supplies, games, food needs, volunteers, setup, teardown, and student flow.
- Work with staff and volunteers to ensure events are executed with excellence and safety.
- Help create outreach opportunities that connect students, families, schools, churches, and the community to Teen FLOW.
Expectations:
- The Program Manager should be dependable, organized, and proactive. This person should be able to move between planning details and hands-on ministry moments with students. They should bring creativity, structure, and spiritual care to the program environment while helping Teen FLOW provide excellent, mission-centered programming for students and families.
Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
