Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional guest services and a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, taking orders accurately, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, providing menus and information about daily specials.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining attention to detail.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces as needed.
- Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a server or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided if necessary.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift trays of food, and perform bussing duties efficiently.
