Education:
- Required; Associate's degree or equivalent
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
Licensure or Certification:
- Required Licensure: Valid Driver License (for operation of hospital vehicle and coverage eligibility for hospital's automobile insurance)
Experience:
- Required: Five years of supervisory experience in facilities management, engineering operations, construction supervision, or related field
- Preferred: Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment
Required Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Knowledge of building maintenance, maintenance management, and AutoCAD concepts or applications. Knowledge of Life Safety Code, building codes, and Federal & State regulations, efficient with Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- JCAHO facilities and safety requirements, Building Information Modeling (BJM), Rivet, Plant Operations and Building Automation Systems (Mestasys)
Physical Demands:
- Able to speak and hear for effective communication. Moderate walking, stooping, bending, and climbing are required to inspect buildings and projects. Visual acuity and manual dexterity are necessary to work with measuring tools, schematics, blueprints, and codes.
Protective Equipment: Standard precautions including ear plugs, gloves, safety glasses, & hard hat
Working Environment:
