Duties
- Lead and supervise front-end staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Oversee cashiering functions such as cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) system management, and customer transactions with accuracy and professionalism
- Manage inventory control, stocking, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales and maintain product presentation standards
- Implement employee orientation programs, training & development initiatives, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team
- Conduct interviewing, recruiting efforts, and onboarding processes to attract talented candidates aligned with store goals
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints efficiently, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience through excellent communication skills
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities with proven supervisory experience in food service environments or similar retail environments
- Excellent communication skills is a must
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, and marketing strategies to boost sales and customer engagement
- Experience with payroll processing, cash handling, and administrative tasks related to store management
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and retail math calculations is a must
- Proficient in using POS systems
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across shift management and team supervision
- Knowledge of bakery/restaurant operations or retail sales environments preferred but not required
- Ability to train staff on customer service standards such as phone etiquette and store policies while fostering a positive team atmosphere
- Strong leadership qualities with a focus on employee orientation, training & development, and motivating teams toward shared success
