Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of non-alcoholic beverages including coffee, tea, smoothies, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling, equipment sanitation, and adhering to food safety standards
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, answer questions about menu items, and provide personalized recommendations
- Manage cash handling duties by processing cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end
- Restock supplies, ingredients, and beverages to ensure smooth daily operations
- Follow food safety protocols during food preparation and beverage service to uphold health standards
Skills
- Proven experience as a Barista or in food service with strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse guests
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and inventory management
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
