Fitch Solutions, a global leader in credit risk information and strategic data solutions, is looking for a seasoned sales professional to join our team as a Director, Account Manager. This role is responsible for meeting an annual net sales target by growing client spend with Fitch Solutions through cross-sell or up-sell, building and retaining client relationships, being an overall trusted advisor in our product suite, and more.

We’ll Count on You To:
- Research and prospect for growth opportunities within Fitch Solutions that include:
- Credit research, investment recommendations, and fixed income data services across IG, HY, Structured Finance, and Loans
- Credit risk solutions supporting portfolio risk, counterparty exposure, and due-diligence workflows
- Industry and Country Macro Research and Data
- Sustainability across Securities, Entities, and Countries
- Be responsible for managing the full renewal process, including:
- Leading and overseeing contract negotiations
- Ensuring favorable terms that align with company goals while maintaining strong client relationships
- Executing a disciplined, client-centric renewal process, including renewal calendars, risk identification, and action planning
- Direct end-to-end relationship management across the firm to drive engagement of all products through strategic relationship building, coordinating with Customer Success, Sales Specialists, Solutions Architects, Market Development, and Revenue Operations.
- Build and maintain relationships across key stakeholders at your accounts, including portfolio managers, credit and research analysts, risk management, COO/operations, and compliance teams.
- Engage in routine territory and account planning, using available data to develop informed strategies and identify white space.
- Maintain disciplined CRM usage and forecasting accuracy to support predictable, reliable commercial outcomes.
What You Need to Have:
- General knowledge of financial services and capital markets with a focus on fixed income and alternative investments preferred.
- A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business, or a related field, laying the educational foundation for excellence in financial markets.
- It is essential that you have 5+ years sales/business development experience within the financial services industry, ideally with exposure to hedge funds, asset managers, or other institutional buy-side participants.
- A proven track record in developing business and growing revenue streams with institutional and hedge fund clients.
- Ability to develop an extensive network of contacts across your accounts at the senior executive level, procurement level, and user level.
- You must be self-motivated and able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative, tenacity, and perseverance.
- Creative problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- A diligent work ethic with a results-driven attitude.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written (PowerPoint a plus).
- Excellent listening skills.
- Fluent written and spoken English language skills are essential.
Travel: 20% Travel. We currently operate within a hybrid work environment, with 3 days required in office.

Base pay is one part of Fitch’s total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
