Responsibilities
- Support new vendor onboarding, qualification reviews, and compliance checks to ensure vendors meet company policies, operational requirements, and applicable standards.
- Assist with vendor sourcing, evaluation, and relationship management to support business needs, service coverage, and operational capacity.
- Monitor carrier and staffing vendor performance, service levels, compliance requirements, and issue resolution to ensure vendors consistently meet service expectations.
- Maintain vendor performance scorecards and support KPI tracking, including timeliness, service quality, cost efficiency, compliance, and operational performance.
- Assist with vendor cost analysis, rate review, and pricing comparisons to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall service value.
- Support contract administration, vendor documentation management, contract renewal tracking, and internal approval follow-up.
- Support rate management, cost data organization, and pricing comparisons, and share pricing updates and cost references with relevant internal departments in a timely manner.
- Coordinate daily logistics operations with carriers, warehouses, and internal teams, including shipment arrangements, pickup and delivery follow-up, appointment updates, POD tracking, and exception escalation.
- Identify vendor-related service issues, compliance gaps, and operational risks, and support corrective actions and process improvements.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, logistics, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure vendor management and transportation coordination processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics coordination, vendor management, purchasing, operations support, or customer service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with vendors and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to track documents, performance data, shipment updates, and outstanding issues.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, follows through on assigned tasks, and is willing to support hands-on operational needs.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, staffing agencies, or vendor coordination is a plus.
- Bilingual in Chinese and English.
