We are currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Asleep Overnight Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses in a residential home setting in Mahmomen, MN.
In this role, you will help create a safe, supportive, and positive environment while promoting independence, dignity, and overall well-being for the individuals we serve.
About the Role
As an Asleep Overnight DSP, your primary responsibility is ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of individuals receiving services while supporting individualized goals and documenting progress.
This position allows for sleep during the designated overnight sleep hours of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m; however, staff must be able to wake promptly and respond appropriately to client needs, emergencies, or support requests as they arise.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals in a residential setting
- Provide compassionate support to adults with disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses
- Assist in implementing individualized goals, supports, and outcomes
- Promote independence and daily living skills
- Support a positive, respectful, and person-centered environment
- Respond promptly to overnight needs or emergencies
- Complete required documentation and progress notes
- Collaborate effectively with team members to provide consistent care and support
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to pass a background study
- Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to respond quickly and appropriately during overnight shifts
- Commitment to promoting dignity, safety, and independence for those served
