The Rochester Medical Center is looking for a reliable and compassionate certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join out team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic evaluations using nuclear medicine procedures
- Administer radio-pharmaceuticals and other medications as necessary
- Operate imaging equipment
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to them
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
- Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Follow aseptic technique and infection control protocols
Skills:
- Proficient in performing nuclear medicine scans, including mostly MPI Stress test but also HIDA, MUGA, Bone scan, Thyroid scans.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately interpret images and identify abnormalities
- Familiarity with aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment during procedures
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate positioning of patients and precise imaging results
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
