We are searching for a great personality and attitude with outstanding work ethic to help out our team in Princeton, TX. We are a growing pediatric dental office and looking to add to our team. The ideal candidate is someone that enjoys being in a team-oriented environment, sincerely loves working with kids, friendly and respectful toward everyone. This position is full-time (4 days a week).
At least 1 year dental assisting experience recommended. Experience with orthodontic assisting is a huge plus. Pay will be based on experience and skill level. RDA and CPR certification is required.
Our office hours are Monday through Thursday 8am-4pm currently. Please include resume and references if possible.
Duties
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures including oral and IV sedation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures.
- Proficient in obtaining digital radiographs on pediatric patients.
- Perform dental charting and documentation using electronic health record systems using Archy.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
- Assist with infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks.
- Orthodontic assisting experience or willing to learn orthodontic assisting is a requirement.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records.
Experience
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including four-handed dentistry
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and OSHA regulations
- Experience taking dental x-rays and using digital radiography systems
- Ability to use electronic health record systems for medical documentation

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
