Our client is seeking NJ licensed nurses (RNs and LPNs) for full-time positions with 12-hour overnight shifts available! She values nurses with a social/energetic personality, quick learning abilities, and the capacity to take direction well.

Position Details:
- Location: Newtown, PA
- Shifts: Full-time 12 hour overnight shifts

Meet our client: A college-educated, enthusiast of life, 27-year-old woman living with Pompe Disease, a rare for of muscular dystrophy. She will soon live independently, but currently lives with her family and brother, who also has Pompe. She is excited to build a fun care team!
Fun Fact: The Harrison Ford movie, "Extraordinary Measures" was made about her family!
About Her:
- Fully cognitive and verbal, using a power wheelchair to wheel around town!
- Works full time at Make-A-Wish New Jersey. Active in the social work industry and disability advocacy.
- Enjoys concerts, theater, NYC, Disney World, local eateries/bars, country music, traveling, home organization & decorating projects, binging shows, shopping, beach days, and beauty routines.
Role Expectations:
- Familiarity with equipment such as suction, ventilator, nebulizer, as well as airway management and feeding tube. We promise to teach you everything you need to know. Paid training!
- Assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, dressing, hair, makeup, errands, appointments, phone calls, chores.
- Comfortable with busy 'go-go-go', as well as laid-back days with down time.
- Physical activity involved, but not strenuous (she is a petite woman and the physical care is easily manageable).
- Must be able to carry out care routines quickly and efficiently. She has a busy life and her care doesn’t define her days.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to shifts, as she can never be left unstaffed.
- Comfortable caring for someone who requires total care and has trace use of limbs.

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse with current active license in NJ and willing to obtain in PA or multi-state licensure
- Current CPR certification
- TB clearance
- Recent physical
Pay rate: $50+/hr depending on experience; can begin training immediately.
