About the Role
Security Constructors / Fence OKC is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects ranging from $5 million to $10 million+ across West Texas. This is a hands-on leadership role for a results-driven builder who can run a safe, productive, and well-coordinated jobsite from mobilization through closeout.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in concrete and structural steel, or experience with installation of high security fencing and crash rated systems. is comfortable managing subcontractors and schedules on large-scale projects, and communicates effectively with site personnel, clients, and project stakeholders. Data center construction experience is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily on-site construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field crews across all project phases
- Maintain and update project schedules; proactively identify and resolve delays or conflicts
- Utilize Procore to manage daily logs, RFIs, submittals, punch lists, and project documentation
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and inspectors
- Enforce jobsite safety programs and maintain a strong, measurable safety record
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets project and company standards
- Coordinate material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics
- Lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with owners, subs, and internal teams
- Travel to and manage projects throughout West Texas as assigned
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a proven track record managing projects of $5M–$10M or more
- Proficiency with Procore is required
- Strong background in concrete and structural steel construction
- Data center project experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with site personnel and clients
- Results-driven with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrated commitment to jobsite safety with a clean, measurable safety record
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Willingness and ability to travel to project sites throughout West Texas
- Valid driver's license required
