Position Summary
The Pittsburgh office of Dentons Cohen & Grigsby is seeking a junior associate with ERISA/employee benefits experience and strong academic credentials to join our Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation practice. The person hired for this position will be part of a dedicated team and will support the practice by assuming such responsibilities as:
- Drafting welfare plan documents and summary plan descriptions
- Managing client relationships and a broad array of ERISA/employee benefits matters

- Has excellent written communication and drafting skills and an ability to produce written work product that is concise and effective

- Has excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to clearly communicate advice to clients and others

Technical skills
- 1-3 years of ERISA/employee benefits experience is required
- Experience with health and welfare plans, tax qualified plans, executive compensation and transactional matters is required
Other requirements
- Should be licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and be in good standing
