Principal’s Demonstration and Preparatory Academy is seeking experienced, dependable, and passionate educators to join our growing team. We are currently hiring for Infant, Toddler, Preschool, School-Age classrooms, and Teacher Aide positions.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred
OR
- High School Diploma/GED with a minimum of 2–3 years of verifiable childcare/daycare experience
- CDA Credential preferred but not required• Minimum of 3 strong professional references required• Current PA Criminal Background Check, Child Abuse Clearance, and FBI Fingerprinting Clearance required• Current Mandated Reporter Certification required• CPR/First Aid Certification preferred• Working knowledge of Pennsylvania DHS Regulations and Keystone STARS standards preferred• Strong classroom management and time management skills• Knowledge of health and safety practices in a childcare setting• Must be reliable, professional, nurturing, and committed to providing high-quality care and education
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment Maintain compliance with DHS regulations and Keystone STARS standards Follow all health and safety procedures and active supervision requirements Implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans Complete daily documentation and classroom responsibilities Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and professionalism Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and educational development
