Position Overview
This role requires strong DCS, PLC, Logics, and electrical aptitude. The Automation Control
Engineer will design and implement PLC and HMI/SCADA programs that meet or exceed
customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
• • Design, develop, document, program, debug, and maintain PLC logics for process
control systems
• • Design, develop, document, program, debug, and maintain HMI/SCADA software
• • Collaborate with engineering groups to facilitate a Systems Engineering approach
• • Review Proposal Requests and Offers and provide professional feedback
• • Install and commission automation control systems on customer sites
Required Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• • PLC software and electrical control experience
• • Ability to program in ladder, function chart, structured text, or sequential function
languages
• • Proficiency in creating and reading electrical/control schematics
• • Ability to design and CAD cabinet layouts and wiring diagrams
• • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in electrical/control circuits
• • Understanding of process and machine control systems
• • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
• • Strong teamwork and communication skills
Experience:
• • 5–10 years of control system programming experience (ABB, Bailey, Allen-Bradley, GE,
Modicon, Red Lion, Siemens, Schneider)
