Drive wheelchair buses to designated destinations in accordance with schedules

Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle. Using proper wheelchair securement equipment and process.

Perform pre and posttrip vehicle inspections

Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle

Communicate effectively with passengers and dispatch as needed
-
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Ability to pass criminal background checks, DOT physical and drug screen and also DOT Clearinghouse check.

Previous experience in wheelchair passenger commercial bus driving.

Ability to lift heavy objects when necessary

Experience with paratransit bus driving.

Strong customer service skills

Must have valid CDL class C or higher driver's license with a clean driving record, passenger endorsement and no N1 or N2 restrictions.

Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
