Who You Are:
You are an empathetic and attentive caregiver with a passion for supporting children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs) in their homes. The Role:
In this role, you will provide in-home care to children, teenagers, and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DDs). You will follow individualized client care plans and provide periodic progress updates to the care team. #INDDS
Services may include: personal care (bathing/showering & toileting assistance), meal preparation, companionship, medication reminders, and light housekeeping. *Services provided are non-medical*
What You Bring to the Table:
- Great communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Reliability and punctuality
- Ability to travel to different cities (highly desired)
- Two references – at least one reference must be able to confirm disability-related experience
- Proof of a negative TB test is required in accordance with Regional Center regulations (requirements may vary by location). If you need a TB skin test, we cover the full cost for eligible candidates.
- In-person Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid Certification(s) – reimbursement available!
