Job description:
1. Check out and assist customers with register transactions. Includes use of POS system, responding to inventory and pricing inquiries, and directing customers to product locations.
2. Answering phones. Includes responding to basic questions, taking detailed messages, and following through on phone requests and inquiries.
3. In-store customer service. Includes initiating customer interactions, offering help, and maintaining our extremely high level of friendly customer service.
4. Other duties include stocking items, watering, making drip coffee, and maintaining a clean and safe retail environment.
Requirements:
1. Must be available to work 40 hours per week
2. Must be available to work Saturdays
3. Must be able to repeatedly lift 40+lbs
4. Must have strong intrapersonal skills
5. Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing plans or shifts in duties. Must be able to follow instructions and execute tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must Have Skills & Experience in:
6. Knowledge of plants – shrubs, trees, perennials, annuals (identification, care needs)
7. Customer service experience with a focus on patience
8. Experience working cohesively as a team member
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
