Appointment Scheduler — Phone Booker (Work From Home, Part-Time for now)
About Us
For 14 years I've sold and serviced Cutco cutlery; we sharpen our clients’ and new leads' knives **for free** across our territory. I was recently promoted to the National Gifting program and have started traveling full time in our RV. My wife and I run the business together, but she helps more with the gifting side. We are looking for a part-time (eventually full-time) assistant to make phone calls, fill schedules, and helping with miscellaneous tasks & projects.
THE ROLE
Your #1 job is simple: **make phone calls and book sharpening appointments.**
You'll call a warm list of existing clients and interested leads to offer them a free service they know about / signed up for. Everything is logged automatically, you’ll work out of our CRM and keep the calendar full.
- Make outbound calls to past clients and new leads (this is 80% of the job)
- Book and confirm free sharpening appointments
- Check and reply to texts/emails that come back from our automated campaigns
- Keep clean notes in our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks
Weekly Hours
10–20 hours/week to start, with the opportunity to grow to 30-40 hours/week
The key to this job: **people answer at different times.** Some pick up in the morning, some at night. So your hours are split across both windows.
An example of a typical 10-hour call week looks like:
- **Monday** — 2 hrs morning
- **Tuesday** — 1 hr morning, 2 hrs evening
- **Wednesday** — 1 hr checking emails/texts/replies
- **Thursday** — 1 hr morning, 2 hrs evening
- **Friday** — 1 hr morning
WHAT/WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Quiet work space
- **Comfortable and confident on the phone** — this is the whole job. Friendly, warm, able to adapt the script, and unbothered by the occasional "no thanks."
- Self-motivated and dependable working from home with no one looking over your shoulder
- Organized — you should be able to keep good notes and follow a simple system
- Basic comfort with tech (Gmail, and we'll train you on our CRM)
WHAT WE PROVIDE
- Full training on CRM’s and simple call scripts
- Our automated text/email system and CRM to work from
- A warm list of real clients who already know us
- a Phone line to call from, you must use your own phone with our CRMs app
- Our own website tool that will help organize who you should call
COMPENSATION
Training is $17.5/ hour
Once training is over $19/hour immediately. Training is over when I no longer need to be there and my service assistant is happy with the way appts are set up.
My last assistant was at $21/hour after 6 months, and $25/hour after 1.5 years. I give generous raises and bonuses based on full schedules and customer feedback. The less involved I am the more you make.
Pay-day is every Friday for the previous week.

- At that point I will either make a decision or take the top 2-3 recruits and do a skills test to decide.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
