Duties
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students via secure telehealth systems
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and developmental stage
- Provide engaging therapy sessions focused on improving speech, language, and communication skills
- Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting therapy techniques as needed to ensure optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to support consistent progress at home and in other settings
- Maintain detailed documentation of sessions, assessments, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards
- Attend IEP meetings
Experience
- Prior school-based or pediatric clinical experience is highly preferred to ensure familiarity with early intervention strategies
- Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques applicable to children with diverse communication needs
- Experience in patient assessment and developing effective treatment plans for pediatric populations
- Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills in a virtual setting
- Knowledge of early intervention practices and developmental milestones for children
- Previous experience with telehealth platforms or remote patient care is a plus but not required
