We are currently accepting resumes for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Patient Care Attendant to join our team!! The Patient Care Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all pets and guests have a pleasant experience by providing a safe, comfortable, fun, and CLEAN environment. This position is for full hours (approximately 33 to 40 hours per week). Salary dependent on experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining a clean environment for patients in our care
- Administering medications as directed by the Veterinarian
- Assisting the Veterinary Technicians with patient care
- Assisting with processing laboratory samples
- Assisting with the preparation of surgical instruments
- Bathing of dogs and cats
- General housekeeping duties
- Position Requirements:
- Neat & clean appearance with no visible tattoos
- Must have reliable transportation
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Must be able to work *some weekends and holidays
- Ability to work and communicate with a team
