Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Estimator to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving growth and providing customer service. In this role, you will leverage your technical proficiency and manufacturing expertise to review customer requirements, develop precise cost estimates, and collaborate across departments to ensure seamless production planning. Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive manufacturing cost estimates by reviewing customer specifications, production schedules, and resource requirements.
- Utilize an ERP system, automated quoting tools, and other production management systems to extract relevant data for accurate forecasting.
- Engage with potential customers via calls, emails, and meetings to understand their needs and present tailored solutions
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through product delivery, ensuring a seamless experience for clients
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to incorporate demand planning, inventory management, and logistics considerations into estimates.
- Conduct Excel data analysis and create detailed spreadsheets to support estimation and cost adjustments
- Engage in cross-functional communication with engineering, procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure alignment on project scope and timelines.
- Monitor inventory management systems and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) outputs to refine cost estimates continually.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for efficiency gains within manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in manufacturing estimation or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent production management software.
- Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, demand planning, inventory control, and logistics inventory management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis, spreadsheets creation, and forecasting.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation accurately.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills focused on data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and managing ongoing relationships, including order flow management.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
