Job Summary
The Repair Technician is responsible for performing high‑quality diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on agricultural, construction, and residential equipment. This role ensures equipment is repaired the first time correctly, supports shop workflow efficiency, and delivers a professional customer experience through accurate documentation and communication with the Service Coordinator and Warranty/Insurance Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Technical Repair & Diagnostics
- Perform diagnostics on diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, drivetrains, and PTO/implement functions.
- Complete repairs on tractors, skid steers, excavators, RTVs, mowers, hay tools, and other ag/construction equipment.
- Conduct major and minor repairs including no‑starts, hydraulic leaks, engine performance issues, transmission concerns, and electronic faults.
- Execute preventive maintenance services (oil changes, inspections, filters, lubrication, adjustments).
- Use diagnostic tools, laptop‑based software, and manufacturer service systems to identify root causes.
- Verify repairs through test operation and ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in agricultural, construction, or diesel equipment repair.
- Strong diagnostic ability with diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and manufacturer bulletins.
- Proficiency with laptop‑based diagnostic tools and manufacturer software.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to operate tractors, skid steers, and similar equipment.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in shop/field environments.
Pay: $25.08 - $30.20 per hour

Experience:
- Diesel engine repair: 2 years (Preferred)
