Position Summary:
- Starting pay around $32- $34 per hour
- Maintaining and repairing fleet tractors & cryogenic tankers.
- Diagnosing Mechanical problems & providing service & maintenance on tractors & trailers; as well as performing routine inspections.
- Replace tires as needed & maintain accurate paperwork.
- Willing to travel to other locations when help is needed
Experience & Education:
- Position requires certification from a mechanic trade school or 2 years of related experience.
- Must be computer literate
- Cryogenic and /or hydraulic experience a plus.
- MUST HAVE AIR BRAKE CERTIFICATION
- Must be certified and able to perform inspections on trucks and trailers.
- DOT brake certification/ Federal Inspection
- Tools required are 1/2" Sockets and below and basic needed mechanic tools, bigger tools are provided on site.
- Hydraulic Systems experience, Will need to be willing to learn cryogenic system and components
- Welding experience is a plus. ABS system troubleshooting
- Prior Diesel/Truck and Trailer Mechanic Experience
Work Schedule:
- Day shift position Tuesday - Saturday.
- 7am to 5pm
