American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Level I Trauma facility setting with adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients
-
Daily patient census of approximately 125
-
Night shift, 3x12 hours, working Saturday/Sunday/Monday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM (Monday shift 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM)

Floating required between Church Street and Mary Black campuses
-
No on-call requirements
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
-
ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
-
BLS certification required
-
State license required if applicable
-
Level I Trauma facility experience required
-
Community hospital experience required
-
Experience with Epic charting system required
-
Skilled in abdomen and pelvis CT imaging, with and without contrast
-
Experience with special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, and colonography preferred

Experience with spine, musculoskeletal, chest, head, and neck CT imaging
-
Proficient with PACS equipment
-
Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
-
Skilled in starting peripheral IVs
-
First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

All requested time off must be submitted with the initial application, as requests made afterward will not be considered

Pending state license accepted, but must be obtained prior to start date

Pass/fail Cardiac Dysrhythmia testing is required during orientation, with only one attempt allowed

Previous SRHS permanent staff are not eligible to return as travelers

Attendance policy in place; missing more than two shifts per 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review for cancellation
