Position Summary
The Studio Manager owns the studio-facing side of the business — everything within the four walls. This is the day-to-day operational leader and coach inside the studio, accountable for the full guest-facing framework: Tools & Systems → Studio Readiness → Guest Experience → Conversion. The Studio Manager provides direct oversight of the Studio Readiness and Sales Team Leads, owns studio staffing (hiring, onboarding, training), and is accountable for the operational and financial performance of the studio.

Key Responsibilities
Studio Readiness & Operations
- Own all studio readiness functions — facility, equipment, and environment guest-ready at all times.
- Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, and service excellence across every touchpoint.
- Execute daily and weekly cleanliness and facility checklists.
- Oversee upkeep and maintenance of wellness equipment; coordinate repairs and vendor service calls.
- Manage retail and supply inventory.
- Administer the POS/appointment software (Zenoti) and studio operational tools (Asana, WhatsApp, OPS sheet, Handbook).
Guest Experience & Conversion
- Own the guest experience from arrival through rebooking — consistently clean, welcoming, and on-brand.
- Drive guest conversion to memberships, packages, and promotions; coach the team on consultative selling and conversion technique.
- Hold the team accountable to sales and conversion goals.
- Serve as the escalation point for guest concerns, resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Apply retention-first approaches to cancellation and freeze requests.
- Maintain accurate client data in the CRM to support retention and outreach.
Team Leadership & Staffing
- Provide direct oversight of the Studio Readiness Lead and Sales Team Lead.
- Own studio staffing: hiring, onboarding, and training of wellness associates.
- Manage scheduling, shift coverage, and time-off to ensure optimal floor coverage.
- Coach and develop the team on-shift; monitor performance against studio standards and KPIs.
- Build and maintain a positive, accountable, wellness-forward team culture.
Studio Performance & Reporting
- Support the General Manager with daily reporting, KPIs, and administrative communication.
- Monitor studio financial performance and contribute to hitting studio targets.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2+ years in wellness, hospitality, retail, or studio management, including a leadership role.
- Demonstrated strength in sales and conversion coaching, with a professional, calm, client-first approach.
- Strong understanding of studio operations, including wellness modalities and client management.
- Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools and CRM systems.
- Experience managing inventory, schedules, and equipment maintenance preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; composed and solutions-oriented under pressure.

Performance Incentive Structure

Modeled on the studio leadership incentive structure:
- A percentage of total studio revenue, stepped up as monthly revenue goals are met and as the studio reaches break-even.
- Monthly KPI bonuses tied to the metrics this role owns — conversion, average guest spend, attrition/retention, rebook rate, and package utilization.
- Incentive is tied to studio-wide performance; not eligible for individual commission on packages and memberships.

Studio Hours: Monday–Saturday 8am–8pm, Sunday 8am–6pm
