Provide one-on-one nursing care to clients in their homes as a referred LPN through our licensed Florida nurse registry. As an independent contractor, you choose your clients, your schedule, and your rate range - no facility politics, no rotating assignments, just focused care for one patient at a time under a physician's plan of treatment.
Duties
- Deliver skilled nursing care in private residences per the medical plan of treatment
- Administer medications as ordered, including diabetic care and insulin
- Wound care, dressing changes, catheter care, ostomy care
- IV therapy for qualified LPNs (30-hour IV certification required)
- Monitor vitals and patient condition; document in nursing notes
- Communicate with physicians, families, and RNs regarding patient status
- Care for clients with dementia, post-surgical needs, and chronic conditions
- Provide end-of-life comfort care in coordination with hospice when applicable
Requirements
- Active Florida LPN license (or multistate compact license) — clear, no discipline
- Clean background check (fingerprint-based)
- Medical clearance + negative TB test (last 6 months)
- CPR/BLS card — hands-on course
- 1+ year nursing experience (home care or private duty preferred)
- Legally allowed to work in the U.S.
- 1099 independent contractor — you control your schedule and client list
Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
