Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, endodontics, and oral surgery with precision and care.
- Utilize dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix to document patient records accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose oral health issues using medical imaging and dental terminology, and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term dental health.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, anesthesiology, and other specialties by participating in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Valid state license to practice dentistry with current DEA registration if applicable.
- Proven experience working in a dental office or clinic setting with familiarity in dental fabrication, medical documentation, and medical records management.
- Proficiency in dental software platforms such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards, medical imaging techniques, anatomy knowledge, and medical/medical terminology.
- Experience performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, endodontics treatments, and pediatric dentistry is essential.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs thoroughly and communicate effectively.
- Ability to work efficiently within a team practicing four-handed dentistry while maintaining high standards of aseptic technique.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations along with understanding of state healthcare laws ensures compliance at all times.
