Founded in 1970, Charlotte Ballet is known for its strong dancers and versatile repertoire, ranging from classical ballet to bold, contemporary works. Position Summary
Morning shifts (examples: 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m., 11:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.)
Afternoon/Evening shifts (examples: 1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m., 3:30 p.m.–8:30 p.m.)
Part-time, flexible schedule with shifts ranging from 3.5–8 hours, based on organizational needs. This may adjust depending on scheduling needs.
· Display and update lobby digital signage as directed.
· Monitor and respond to inquiries received through [email protected], directing communications as appropriate.
· Greet visitors, facilitate building access through the secured entry system, and ensure guests check in at the front desk.
· Answer and route phone calls, messages, and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
· Respond to general questions from students, families, patrons, and visitors.
· Accept deliveries, announce visitors, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
· Process payments, registrations, forms, sales transactions, and other front desk transactions in accordance with Charlotte Ballet and Academy procedures.
· Complete data entry, records maintenance, mailings, and other administrative support tasks as assigned.
· Monitor lobby activity to help maintain a safe, welcoming, and professional environment.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.
· May include Adult Drop-In class check-in and registration, mail distribution, and closing duties.
· May include walk-up sales, receipt of Academy payments and forms, support during peak student/family traffic, and opening duties.
· Perform other administrative, operational, and customer service duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
· Passion for dance, arts and entertainment
· 1 year experience working in customer engagement and customer facing role
· Strong communication skills, diplomacy, positive example of Charlotte Ballet values, computer proficiency, ability to handle multiple functions at one time, comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders

Compensation Range $15 hourly
