Join our team as a Hotshot & Box Truck Owner Operator, delivering time‑sensitive freight across regional and OTR routes. Operate your own equipment while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable transportation of general freight, partials, flatbed loads, and expedited cargo.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate your hotshot unit or box truck in compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Load and unload freight using manual handling or equipment such as forklifts.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems to optimize delivery routes.
- Conduct pre‑trip inspections and routine maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status, delays, or issues.
Requirements (CDL or Non‑CDL)
- Valid CDL or Non‑CDL license, depending on the vehicle you operate.
- Valid DOT Medical Certificate.
- Annual DOT Inspection for truck and trailer.
- Active registration for vehicle and/or trailer.
- Clean MVR — no major violations, suspensions, DUIs, or safety issues.
- No insurance necessary — coverage provided.
- ELD compliance and ability to follow Hours of Service (HOS).
- Experience operating hotshot units, box trucks, trailers, flatbeds, or specialized equipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including loading and unloading cargo.
- Experience using GPS systems for route planning.
- We speak Spanish — Hablamos Español.
