Job Overview:
As a Server at our mad moose cafe,you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience while visiting our establishment. You will work closely with the kitchen staff, handle cash transactions, utilize the POS system, and assist in bussing tables to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Deliver orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction
- Utilize the POS system for order processing
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Assist in bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Engage with guests to provide recommendations and upsell menu items
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment like a sessional restaurant.
- Proficiency in math for handling cash transactions
- Familiarity with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
