3-D PDS Designer
Theta Technologies Inc. has a potential opening for a 3-D Designer to provide support services to assigned engineering teams. Designer support services include engineering analysis, 3D Modeling using Plant Design System (PDS) software, design development, and generation of design output documents including but not limited to: Piping; Layouts: Electrical Commodity Details; HVAC Duct layout; Site Layout; and Vendor Document Reviews.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Degree is required. Formal training beyond High School in Computer Aided Design and Drafting is preferred.
- Candidate must demonstrate eight (8) years experience as a Designer, including experience designing layout of piping, electrical commodities and HVAC ducts.
- Significant experience in PDS is required.
- Knowledge of 3 D modeling using PDS is required.
- Candidate must have the ability to walk down systems in the field.
- Candidate must be able to obtain an L clearance if required to perform assigned duties.
