Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
- Take and relay guest orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring guest needs are met swiftly
- Handle guest inquiries with clear communication and phone etiquette, providing helpful information about menu items or restaurant policies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, waiting areas, and dining spaces
- Support food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation practices and restaurant protocols
Requirements
- Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or food service environment preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a welcoming attitude and positive energy
- Excellent communication skills, including professional phone etiquette
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail and organization
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality best practices
- Restaurant experience or hotel background is advantageous but not mandatory
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team in a lively, guest-focused setting
