Job Description
- Provide Performance and Awards support services.
- Coordinate the annual Award Ceremonies, including preparing award packages, ordering plaques and pins, panel meetings and preparing the program and script.
- Advertise and manage internal and external award programs.
- Review award packages for eligibility and meeting established criteria.
- Prepare memorandums, certificates, congratulatory letters, announcements, procurement justifications, and develop trainings and perform presentations, briefings, etc. as appropriate.
- Review performance rating and award recommendations to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide policy guidance on issues relating to awards and performance management. This is done through writing agency policies and procedures, interpreting laws/regulations and answering questions on a daily basis.
- Conduct internal audits, performance appraisals utilizing assessment tools, statistical data analysis, comparative analysis and inference to determine effectiveness of performance and award recognition programs.
Job Requirements
- Recent work (past four (4) years) in Federal HR.
- Familiarity with U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) systems and processes.
- Resume support demonstrated work as General Schedule (GS)-0201 at GS-12 or above.
- Experience processing awards.
- Experience with Enterprise Performance Management Application (EPMA).
