Job Overview
Alléchant is seeking a reliable, organized and personable host for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening dinner service, with the possibility of additional shifts in the future. We are a busy full-service restaurant committed to merging the highest dining standards with neighborhood charm.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests, ensure every party is set up with menus and water
- Manage reservations via Resy, opening and closing online availability as needed to ensure an ideal flow of business
- Coordinate with servers, managing table timelines and special requests
- Answer phone calls
- Assist in bussing and setting up tables
- Set up/break down dining room and patio at the beginning and end of each shift
- Use slower moments to accomplish routine cleaning tasks across the restaurant
- Collaborate with kitchen and dish room to evenly distribute the load of daily cleaning tasks.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a hygienic working environment
Experience/pre-requisites
- Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred
- Attention to detail
- Sense of urgency
- Strong time-management skills
- Ability to engage genuinely with our guests
