Job Overview:
We are seeking a talented Hair Stylist to join our team at Blush & Brow Spa and Salon! The ideal candidate should be passionate about all things hair, customer service, and staying updated on the latest trends in the industry. This position is intended for an established stylist with at least 8+ years of experience in a salon environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide professional hair care services to clients including cutting, styling, coloring, and treatments
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles
- Stay up to date on current techniques and trends, pursuing additional education or training when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon equipment
- Educate clients on proper hair care techniques and products
- Promote and sell appropriate salon products to clients
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid cosmetology license with salon experience
- Proficiency in a wide range of hair styling and hair coloring techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Established clientele preferred
- Committed to working at least an evening and on Saturdays
- Excellent time management with booking/double-booking clients
- Professional, reliable, team-oriented
