Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal framing materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Construct walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components.
- Install windows, doors, and other framing-related elements.
- Read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- Ensure work meets building codes and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other trades and team members on-site.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a framer or carpenter in commercial and residential settings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- [Optional] OSHA certification or other relevant safety training
Compensation:
- Competitive starting pay $22 - $45/hr or depending on experience
