Sushi Lounge Morristown is seeking a dynamic and energetic Manager to lead our restaurant team to new heights of excellence. Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management to ensure smooth daily performance.
- Supervise food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes to uphold quality standards and food safety regulations.
- Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food production to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
- Train, develop, and motivate team members through effective staff training programs and ongoing coaching.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting with accuracy.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Conduct regular safety audits, enforce food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements.
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing restaurants or food service establishments with a strong background in quick service or casual dining environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience in team management, training & development, and staff interviewing.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and culinary processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, food safety management, and food industry standards.
- Excellent managerial communication skills coupled with leadership qualities that motivate teams toward shared goals.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for budgeting, ordering, and financial analysis.
- Experience in managing hospitality teams within diverse settings such as fine dining or banquet environments is preferred.

Pay: $71,967.09 - $86,670.05 per year
