We're currently seeking individuals with a keen interest in eye care to join us as Ophthalmic Technician/ Certified Paraoptometric (CPO) / Certified Paraoptometric Assistant (CPOA). Job Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities:
Support our optometrists by assisting with exams and performing preliminary tests under supervision.
Learn to measure and record vision of patients using specialized equipment.
Take patient histories and perform routine screenings under guidance.
Learn to instruct patients about medication, procedures, and care before and after surgery.
Assist in managing ophthalmic and contact lens inventory, including ordering and verification.
Ensure that all patient care areas and equipment are clean, safe, and ready for patient appointments.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
No prior experience is necessary – we'll train you!
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and patience.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A dedication to learning and delivering exceptional patient care.
