Jay's Chevrolet GMC is looking for a motivated and dependable Automotive Service Lube Technician to join our Service Department. The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and basic services while providing a high level of quality and customer service.

Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes
- Inspect and replace vehicle fluids as needed
- Lubricate vehicles and perform routine maintenance services
- Check and adjust tire pressure
- Rotate and inspect tires
- Inspect belts, hoses, lights, wipers, and other basic vehicle components
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
- Identify potential maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
- Properly use and maintain tools and equipment
- Complete all work accurately and efficiently
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and fellow team members
Qualifications
- Previous automotive experience preferred, but not required
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and motivated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to lift and move parts and equipment and perform physical duties associated with the position
