Duties
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by regularly cleaning workstations, floors, sinks, and storage areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing ingredients and supplies to support chefs and kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean, organized, and ready for service.
- Bypass or troubleshoot dishwashing equipment issues promptly to prevent delays in service.
- Properly handle food items according to safety guidelines while assisting with basic food handling duties when needed.
- Collaborate with team members across food service operations to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is valued.
- Experience in food handling, cleaning, or kitchen support roles enhances your ability to succeed in this position.
- Familiarity with food service environments such as hotels, catering operations, or banquet settings is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks efficiently.
