Duties & Responsibilities
As a Retread Tire Technician, you will:
- Inspect tires and grade tire casings for retread eligibility
- Buff tires and prepare rubber surfaces for retreading
- Operate specialized retreading equipment
- Retread used and new tires according to company standards
- Perform quality checks throughout the retreading process
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds
- Ability to frequently bend, twist, stoop, reach, kneel, walk, and stand
- Comfortable working in a hot environment while tires are in retread chambers
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
- Previous manufacturing or tire industry experience is helpful but not required - WILL TRAIN!
