Position Summary
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all quality department activities to ensure that quality remains an integral part of Adkev’s culture and operations. This role provides strategic leadership for quality systems, customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Quality Manager works closely with customers, suppliers, production teams, and company leadership to maintain compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards while driving operational excellence and supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all quality department functions, including Quality Engineers, Quality Technicians, Quality Auditors, and Quality Assistants
- Ensure all products meet Adkev quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives
- Train and develop employees in root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions, and problem-solving methodologies including 8D and 5 Why
- Facilitate customer audits, supplier audits, and third-party certification audits
- Serve as Management Representative during certification and surveillance audits
- Maintain quality documentation and data control systems in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 requirements
- Manage inspection, testing, measurement systems, and capability studies
- Lead customer and supplier communications regarding quality-related issues
- Review quality trends, customer complaints, and corrective action effectiveness
- Participate in APQP activities and support new product launches through production implementation
- Develop and review quality-related standards, policies, procedures, and work instructions
- Drive continuous improvement efforts that enhance product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency
- Support company objectives related to safety, compliance, and environmental stewardship
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Strong knowledge of quality systems, auditing processes, and manufacturing quality standards
- Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written, verbal, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred
- Master’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Mathematics, or related field
- 7+ years of Quality Management experience in a plastic injection molding environment
- Automotive manufacturing experience
- IATF 16949 Certified Lead Auditor
- ISO 14001 Certified Lead Auditor
- Experience with APQP, PPAP submissions, GD&T, capability studies, and measurement systems analysis
- Strong customer-facing and supplier management experience

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
