Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their food orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
- Prepare and assemble food items following established recipes and safety standards to deliver high-quality meals quickly.
- Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and managing register operations.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance sales opportunities while providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, adhering to food safety management practices and sanitation protocols.
- Manage food handling responsibilities efficiently, including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food storage.
- Support kitchen operations by assisting with food prep, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to manage time effectively in busy settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
- Experience in food preparation, food safety management, and sanitation practices within the food industry or retail environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail transactions are essential.
- Prior café or grocery store experience will be considered an asset for this energetic role.
