Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Greets and welcomes guests as they arrive at the office.

Directs visitors to the appropriate individuals and department offices.

Manages the daily/weekly/monthly agenda and arranges new meetings and appointments.

Creates and manages data.
-
Prepares and disseminates correspondence, reports, memos, flyers and forms for the department.

Receives, sorts and distributes daily mail/deliveries.
-
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
NOTE: Administrative Assistants’ actual duties may vary, dependent upon the department to which they are assigned.
Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
-
AS degree, a plus
Work Experience and Minimum Requirements:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential

Exceptional written/oral communication

Bilingual, a plus.

Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks are essential
Testing:

Drug screening, as permitted by, and consistent with, applicable law.
Physical Requirements:

Persons performing service in this position classification may routinely exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

Work will involve regular walking or standing for extended periods of time.
