D. Coluccio & Sons, Inc. is a family-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Italian food products. D. Coluccio & Sons seeks deli team member-leaders to assist with cutting, weighing, grating, and packaging food items for retail and wholesale customers. Multiple shifts, schedules, and roles within the deli are available.

Responsibilities
- Assist customers and answer questions
- Cut and grate cheeses, cut cured meats and fish
- Weigh and price items according to PLU list
- Vacuum pack cheeses and meats
- Prepare marinated appetizers; serve and package appetizers and olives
- Properly dispose of waste and keep work area clean
- Arrange neat visual displays
- Label prepackaged items with prices
- Retrieve cases from warehouse and walk-in refrigerators
- Notify supervisors of inventory shortages and upcoming expiration dates
- Familiarize self with products, as well as store, deli, warehouse layout

Requirements
- Experience in foodservice
- Ability to speak and comprehend English (proficiency in Italian and/or Spanish is a plus)
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Attention to sanitation and cleanliness, as well as a commitment to safety
- NYC Food Protection Certificate (also known as Food Handlers License) or other food safety/sanitation training preferred but not required
