Travel Sleep Technologist – Sleep Lab
Location: Burlington, MA
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x10s | 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Sunday, Monday & Tuesday)

Seeking an experienced Sleep Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in the Sleep Lab. The Sleep Technologist will perform comprehensive polysomnography studies, CPAP/BiPAP titrations, and sleep-related diagnostic procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and accurate documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Sleep Lab experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Registered or Registry-Eligible Sleep Technologist preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel experience not required
- Must have been separated from Beth Israel Lahey Health for at least 6 months to be eligible
Responsibilities:
- Perform overnight polysomnography (PSG) studies and Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT)
- Monitor and record EEG, EOG, EMG, EKG, respiratory parameters, and oxygen saturation
- Perform CPAP and BiPAP titrations according to physician orders
- Administer oxygen therapy independently or in conjunction with PAP therapy
- Recognize and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias, respiratory events, seizures, and other medical emergencies
- Troubleshoot sleep study equipment and resolve technical issues during testing
- Identify and eliminate recording artifacts while maintaining study quality
- Review patient history, complete sleep questionnaires, and prepare preliminary sleep study reports
- Maintain equipment calibration and comply with departmental quality assurance standards
- Participate in continuing education and quality improvement initiatives
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Sleep Lab: 2 years (Required)
- Epic EMR: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Registered or Registry-Eligible Sleep Technologist (Preferred)
