Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Case Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a mass tort caseload from initial investigation through settlement, providing exceptional support to clients along the way. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in legal case management and customer service, be adept at using case management systems, and be fluent in Spanish. Prior experience in a law firm or legal services setting is strongly preferred.
Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of case progress, next steps, and answering any questions.
- Complete initial investigations for newly signed clients.
- Coordinate medical treatment
- Order medical records and follow up to ensure timely receipt.
- Once cases settle, coordinate the disbursement of funds.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Familiarity with legal software and case management systems.
- Knowledge of personal injury law and related processes.
- Empathy and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients during challenging times.
