Child Care Director (5+ Years Experience Required)
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Child Care Director to lead program operations, support staff, and ensure high-quality care in a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily program operations, classroom management, and compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations
- Lead, mentor, and support teaching staff while promoting professional growth and teamwork
- Support inclusive programming, including children with special needs, using developmentally appropriate practices
- Build strong relationships with families through clear communication and responsive problem-solving
- Coordinate staff training in behavior management, special education strategies, and best classroom practices
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience running a child care program
- Strong working knowledge of child development (infant–pre-k), including special education needs
- Proven leadership experience supervising staff and managing center operations
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Must be EEC Director Certified
