Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Control Panel Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting control panels used in various HVAC applications. Your expertise will ensure that each control panel meets quality standards and functions reliably, supporting the seamless operation of our manufacturing processes. Duties
- Assemble control panels by following detailed schematics and electrical wiring diagrams
- Install and connect programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other electronic components.
- Test control panels using multimeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing tools to verify functionality
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs or adjustments as needed during production or maintenance
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to assemble mechanical parts and enclosures
Requirements
- Proven experience working with electrical wiring, and schematic interpretation.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately
- Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment
- Electrical experience involving troubleshooting with ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools
- Mechanical knowledge related to assembly of control panels and enclosures
